I stayed in Richmond hotel and Route Inn Sapporo Chuo before. Both also OK but I guess the Route Inn was a bit better (nicer breakfast and had laundromat).

it's your typical business hotel so you should know what to expect ba, small no frills rooms at no frills prices.

actualy depend lor if want reallly cheap there is alwasy not a full hotel suite lor

ermm most japan hotels dun accept reservation way in advance. Starts around 6 months before. try again in may to june

sunroute hotel Sapporo... a few minutes from Sapporo station and quite affordable. just stayed there during the snow festival, very cozy
