Am using Ikea STORÅ Loft bed frame. Below just nice for my 1.75m height.

Above just nice for me to sit up on my bed. Guess my ceiling is higher than normal HDB.

I did ask quotes around before. All charge >$2-2.5k for custom loft bed

wow custom loftbed is ex.... Ibenma actually replied saying that their loft beds is suitable for adults as well, i shall check it out tmr and update for anyone else who are interested

btw how long u been using that bed? abit skeptical wif ikea wood as i hhve had bad experiences.. but not sure bout the beds they have.

2 years +.. My weight 70-75kg.

I custom ordered a large wooden plank to put between the mattress and frame. So that weight is evenly spread at the top. no sagging at all.

if anyone goes to Ibenma for loftbeds.. it cost a freaking $1800 for it.. FYI

The creaking sound not as bad. Only when I climb up the ladder. Unless you like turning & shaking around on the bed.

I saw this single size bunk bed white color selling at $289, it can split into 2, top 1 can become a junior loft bed, 2nd bottom become single bed.
