I intend to buy a laptop or any portable device that has Windows 10, prefer small/thin portable.

Budget about $200. Prefer new, might consider second hand.

The main usage is in case my PC spoil I have something to use, I might sometime use it to open excel/word, use a browser, watch youtube, chat or maybe as a secondary monitor.

Please recommend me what is suitable, buy from where.

Thanks

Plenty of pre-owned thinkpad deals at carousell like this.

Try negotiate for $200. Doesnt hurt to try and it runs my fave Windows OS by far.

*Realistically can only deal after ** is lifted unless you dont mind paying for postage/delivery.

Is windows inside a tablet good? What is the difference of windows tablet vs laptop? I never use windows inside tablet before, is it can touchscreen inside the windows all area and got keyboard popup when need to type, or is it must attach an external bluetooth keyboard?

I also see some windows laptop like can detach keyboard and use as tablet, is it good?

I would avoid as some Windows tablet if it is using Windows 10s
means cannot install program.
$200 is very tight, I would suggest go for laptop/desktop that runs
Win 7.

Not all old machines can run Win 10 especially the RAM.
Coy/school may require Win 10 to in order to install certain programs
and etc.

However Win 7 most programs still can install on it so I don't see any issue with older OS.
*FYI I am postng this from a Win 7 PC. (Testing/Savage Rig.)

What do you mean if windows tablet it is using windows 10 cannot install program?

I see those new windows 10 tablet most are 4GB ram is it smooth enough? Can install program?

Old laptop/desktop machine need how many GB ram to run windows 10?

Win 7 I guess no more updates already, still can keep using for many years correct?
