can never get the ideal sound when u listen to post metal/atmospheric metal. so im happy with either having tried both. lol

imo, JH16, 8.A or merlin is a closer class to LSX5 looking at bass...

i felt the lsx5 bass was a lot more controlled than the merlins. merlins were a bit too forward and the bass was too much when listening to progressive/thrash metal due to double pedals. lsx5 on the other hand was bassy when needed and was more on a neutral and transparent side
