Currently I have nothing other den mouse and keyboard, but i planning to get most of the component during Black Friday on lazada or qoo10...

my budget is around 1500 (can stretch a bit more)

I prefer a rig that can let me upgrade easily in the future.

Dont really care about the appearance but the component must be long lasting..

Does not mind getting a better cooler to prevent overheating

Well for starter maybe u can ask some qns:

1) what is this PC for? If games, maybe can tell the title?

2) since u say u want to upgrade like what kind of upgrade are u gonna do?

3)do u required WiFi and monitor?
If required monitor, what do u want from the monitor? Resolution, size, ports, etc?
If required wifi, how far are u away from the PC to router and is there any interference? Interference like mirror or 2 walls apart, etc.

2) Maybe upgrade gpu when the gpu is old

3) I am not very particular about monitor...but i prefer best for bucks monitor
dont really need wifi atm

I dont usually play games on ultra graphics but i want something that is more value for money and able to use long term..

Maybe in the future might wanna have dual monitor

Would you mind second hand parts? Components such as the graphic cards could actually be found on platforms such as Carousell at lower prices, and monitors are relatively cheaper over there if u are looking at 21" 1080p monitors

2) Maybe upgrade gpu when the gpu is old

hmm let me help u out here slightly.
i guess if u are playing the above games, u can get the i5 non-k version. personally, i think 6500 is the sweet spot but u can go higher for 6600.

when u say upgrade gpu when it's old, every mobo has the opportunity to. it only depends on which version the pci-e slot is on the mobo. still, pcie 2.0 and 3.0 not much difference and u lose a few fps at tops. as of now, people are dumping their 1060s because of the recent zotac 1070 sale. alternatively, with your budget, go find a reseller for the zotac 1070. the lowest i have seen is 420 on carousell.

with your budget, your monitor, at best, is a 1080p monitor. 24" will be easier with your budget. monitor i dun have much recommendation; u could try asking the other experts. personally, i find this a good deal.

tbh, your budget as of now, will be able to play any game now at ultra easily. do u have any size constraints for the cpu? and do u require stuff like dvd-rom drive?

any mobo and ram will do
black friday should get you decent corsair 3200Mhz DDR4 16gb ram I think
Plus mobo, you can try Asus for long lasting
Just avoid Asrock, cheapo mobo that die easily...

well i would put on the price for certain items as we are not sure if they gonna have any sales or not and beside that if u dun mind getting some from amazon is fine.

MSI Bazooka Plus + i5 6500 @435
2133Mhz 8GB or 16GB ram
Zotac GTX 1070 AMP edition or Palit GTX 1070 Dual
Superflower Ledex 650W gold or Superflower ledex 550w sliver
Tecware Alpha @69 (if lazada got cheaper then get from there)
Zotac Premium 480GB (only available in lazada) or Samsung 850 evo 500GB (samsung can get from amazon if u dun mind)
WD Blue 1TB (get from qoo10 or lazada or amazon)
Dell S2316h (currently lazada is selling @182.90, but u can check on qoo10 as well)

overall i think its possible to reach 1500 or slightly above.

next u can check for msi b150 gaming pro with i5 6500 @ qoo10 (but bear in mind that possible of no stock by that time. )
