Recommend me a laptop/ultrabook

So my old laptop is dieing and im looking for a new one. I have a budget of $1000.
Things im looking of for, at least a 14 inch display, dedicated graphics for gaming, 8 GB of ram (4 GB is still okay) ,optical drive, and it must be quite durable

hmmmmm....

ultrabook a bit difficult to find one which meets your requirements for sub $1k. unless promo/sale

The issue on durable... it depends on how you take care of the laptop. Basically, the past 2 years, the durability of laptops have improved but I am not too sure about Win 8 laptops with touch screens...
