I have the below.

GFS: GeForce GTX 1060 6GB GDDR5 DirectX 12 VR
Ram: Corsair Vengeance 32 GB (4x8GB)
SSD: Plextor M5S 128GB
HDD: WD Caviar Blue (1TB)
Casing+PSU Bundle: NZXT Phantom 410 / Seasonic M12II 650W

middle range, for gaming purpose. something that will not give me much trouble as I want it to last.

U need atx board since 4 ram slots. Just get the cheapest one as long as no oc

Correction. A lot of matx boards have 4 slots. You mean ram channels?

but still depends on which board, some lower budget tier might not have, and most of the time those normal consumer boards ram channel are only max dual channel.

Well he said it's only for gaming and he has a 1060 chosen so one might think dual channel 4 slots is more than enough no? so a normal board is more than enough without overclocking. Also i think now most affordable boards matx and atx boards usually have 4 ram slots.

Actually come to think about it. For gaming purposes only won't that ram set up be abit overkill? Maybe just 2x4gb ram will do? save money a bit.

Yea overkill but since he bought the rams....unless he selling off.

Yr right. Matx also have 4 slots.

Your rams are ddr3? Which mobo you brought? I believe the msi b250 pro carbon uses ddr4 rams.
