Tecware got any mech keyboard with usb pass thru?
i was looking at it, but i didnt see any model with a usb passthru.
A bit too much to ask for $150 keyboard to be full mechanical, with USB pass through, rgb. I got myself a Corsair K70 RGB Cherry MX Brown for $130 2nd hand which is a 3 months old unit. Suggest you do the same with a restricted budget. Otherwise, you can hunt taobao too, which some of the bros here do the same.

Other than a Filco Ninja, any other recommendations with a NON backlit stealth looking TKL keyboard?

Try Tesoro Lobera Spectrum. Per key RGB with 2 USB ports. Bought mine for <$100 on Shopee. It's using Kailh switches.

Might as well get a usb hub. More ports.

Spend top money just for usb hub is no savvy.

Tesoro is great too
Saw a friend have one. It's good until the key somewhat jammed. Press press press nothing happen. Later press a few more times, the keyboard spam the button and you can only stop it by pressing more times. Sometimes it's okay, sometimes it's not okay. Not sure his switch got problem or the contact dirty.

encountered this problem as well
not exactly sure what causes but for mine is the ? and not /
sometime character will appear twice when pressed once
so likely not a contact dirty but a switch problem?

Have that problem with 2 of my older Tesoro Durandals too. It’s also intermittent.

wah.. i was looking at
Tesoro Durandal Spectrum Mechanical Gaming Keyboard - Cherry MX RGB Blue Switch
wanted to if anyone have any reviews on this.
then seems like a few people got key problems.

very good value i thought, $69.90 for a mech kb with usb passthru.

Maybe too good to be true.

if buy from shopee tesoroofficialstore, the warrenty coverage is 12mths. any views? like that "safer" to get?

I dont know what is "warrenty"?
Can elaborate? Cant find it in dictionary either.

1year later the kb spoil then must buy new 1? Kb are usually built to last for couple of years (thru my experience)

Had a tesoro durandal ultimate with cherry mx brown key switch with red led backlight use more then 3 years already still working fine 100%. Very happy and please with the keyboard sometimes will use wet cloth to wipe away the dust. I'm sure if you take good care of it and don't pound hard and abuse the keyboard constantly it will last you a long long time.

Switch to a lingyi blackwidow keyboard with outemu blue switch and boy it feels so good to type on with the clicky switch compare to the cherry mx brown just that its abit noisier. Find myself enjoying typing more when compare to the cherry mx brown key switch.

Now $61 - $79 can get a good per key RGB lighting mechanical keyboard with good mechanical switches like the outemu key switches from tecware, tesoro or taobao variant all are good. Cheapest per key rgb backlight mechanical keyboard I can find is at $61 and $41 for tenkeyless version.

Recently got myself a Brown Coolermaster Pro L ($109 Lazada), and found that the typing feel quite different as my Filco Brown. Probably due to it's plastic back plate (compared to Filco's Steel Backplate).

Anyone has experience with IKBC ($99 KD104). Heard it has a Steel back plate as well, does it has the same typing feel as Filco?

back plates, key caps, weight will all alter your typing experience, best to try it out yourself
