Help needed on Mid Tier Gaming Rig around 1k

Hi,

Looking into building a Mid Gaming Tier to play dota 2 and MMO, would not be touching those higher graphics demand games.

Would not need Monitor and OS

Budget 1k(can increase if too low)

Bring down to nigel shop and pay him a small fee. His forum nickname is gs. You can search his thread. Make an appointment with him. And he will fix it for you for a small fee

There is not much difference in the 2 of it. Dual channel rams are expensive. $110-$120 onwards.

A single value ram is not so expensive. Wanna troubleshoot also easy.

But if you really feel on the safer side then buy a dual channel memory.

Your budget is certainly very loose to build a PC with your demand level. So would you prefer something value for money or don't mind spending more on a smaller build? :D

Not necessary. Your usage is almost very low usage. If you really want

Change the mobo to msi b85m g43 + i5-4570

Your total sum should be 998

dual channel ram not worth the extra money. People have done real world tests and found that it only increases performance by about 1-2%
