I do not know the proper price range of a mouse, maybe 20-50 dollars? I'm looking more at the value rather than price,but of course if can be cheaper then good lor..No need 18 buttons those kind... I'm actually looking at Microsoft comfort mouse 4500 now..

Most gaming mouse > 60. Anything below that I think no diff. Just pick a comfortable one

I switched over to a wireless mouse and never look back. Love not having the cable caught in something, especially for fast paced games.

I will advise you to invest in the Logitech G602. Reasonable price from Amazon, good amount of additional buttons, relatively long battery life, and absolutely no lag. To me I can't tell the difference between it and a wired mouse. And I use it on its power efficient mode rather than performance mode most of the time.
