Hi all, my mechanical HDD suddenly disappear from My computer. I am using another SSD for my windows, so only the games affected. After a restart I get AHCI device error at that port. Will this confirm that the drive had died?
It is a WD 640GB black (EADS one of the fastest for its time I guess, long time ago though). What drive would be able to match this now? Probably not going for SSD yet as they are still quite expensive for large drives. Please recommend, thanks
