I don't like to recommend just nice, so there's the option of adding a few extras like a soundcard, a few harddisk or other stuff.

His is only a much lower end system so got very big buffer liaos. He cant even overclock so imagine his i5 drawing only 60 odd watts according to tdp. Even 400w is overkill with buffer.

760 is also low-mid end so definitely not an issue

Harddrive at the most take up another 10W each, soundcards I'm pretty sure consume under 50w. 450W more than sufficient..unless he go SLI in the future then might be pushing it a little.

My overclocked C2Q + 6950 + 4HDDs draw no more than 400W from the wall(measured with power meter). What more a modern, much more efficient system.
