Depending on your case it may not clear the larger one well. If you buy SS SFX-L check when they switched to double ball bearing on their website.

Also, Corsair 7 years warranty but expensive, 3 for SS.

Heat density in SFF is higher.
Corsair uses caps labelled at 105C, SS at 85C.

At high ambients the corsair still maintains excellent ripple suppression but the silverstone doesn't. Kiv tomshardware and Pcper. You might want to pay more to overcompensate on SFFs that run warmer.

planing on buying phantex shift. It fits both SFX and SFX-L but prefers SFX instead.

Since you going to play the phanteks shift, it will be better to go SFX as the clearance for the PSU cable after fitting in a SFX-L are a bit too tight for me personally. you can take a look at the video below

i gotten SF600 from corsair over SS. the ripple supression on SS is really

have a used Vios S607 Slim Micro-ATX Case
(suppose to come with 450w Psu) but died.

i don't have any actual usage for this pc - i have my main desktop already.
however i feel like fixing it up with my spare mb / ram / hd for fun.

i have no SF psu spare though. PC themes recommend me silverstone series but they are so ex. i only want fix this pc for fun.

any idea where i can find a cheap moderate ones. i can't seem to find sim lim shops selling such 'budget' SF psu - all silverstone and coasir.

u are better off with a reputable brand then to spend money and buy a vios bad power supplies will take out your components together when your PSU have fireworks

i owned a vios case with a vios ax 500w, when system is onload, the heat it produce is really very bad

U can try lvl 5, got one shop selling brandless ones
