Plan to upgrade hd on aging laptop for kids to use at home, looking at basic ssd to get the job done.

Budget is main consideration hence looking Kingston V300 120GB, any users out there?

Thanks

Kingston V300 is something to avoid if you have other choices. I remember there are other brands around same price range that are vastly better in performance for $5 to $10 more.

Need the other experts here to recommend. Maybe Transcend SSD 370 or Adata.

NEVER BUY v300. it has slow down issues after a few months
