Any recommendations for Windows tablet?
Size ~ 10"
For media consumption, playing flash games on facebook.
Connecting to TV for movies
budget around 800 or less?

Hijack this thread a bit.

I saw some recommendation on the LG G Pad 8.3, is it worth it vs a mi pad or any other recommendation

Primary usage is just for parents to watch video/surf net and i am clueless about tablet specs.
Just need:
>8 inch
Wifi
Andriod OS will be okay
Decent priced

Thanks in advance

I went from the old nexus 2012 to gpad 8.3 and cant get used to it. The screen is very dark and u really have to turn the brightness way up to be on par. The form factor and build is nice tho, pity bout that screen.

For video i recommend lenovo yoga tablets. It has a built-in stand, front facing speakers and long lasting battery. Not sure if local shops carry it, bought for my mum from ebay.

would you guys recommend a nvidia shield or n9?

I'm currently using n7 and the screen cracked, hence changing a new tablet.

both shield and n9 are rly on par. my heart tells me to go with the shield but my brain's afraid of the new change.. n9 seems to lose it's appeal for the price since nexus are supposed to be 'no-frills' but now getting costly.
