Hi all, could you guys give some advice on a 1440p gaming rig?
For context, the rig will be mainly used for gaming, watching videos/streams, emulators etc. I will also use it for work purposes such as teams, word, excel, powerpoint. Programs like PowerBi or Alteryx may also be included if I need to use them in the future. I do not video edit or stream.
I usually play games like PoE 1/2, Valorant, TFT, Persona, Borderlands and such. AAA games as well but only those that I take an interest in, pretty much a mix of everything.
For context, my old pc was built in 2016, i5-6400, 1060 6gb, 16gb ram. I’m the kind that don’t usually upgrade parts unless it’s faulty. Main reason i’m getting a rig now is cause my old pc died two weeks ago, either mobo or PSU died. Figured it will be a good time to get a new one since my old one lasted me 9 years and i’m hoping my new one will last me this long as well. (Side note, is it possible to sell my GPU and RAM? They are still in working condition)
MOBO: MSI B850 Gaming Plus Wifi
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7700
GPU: XFX SWIFT 9060 XT 16gb
Cooler: Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE Dual Tower
RAM: Team T-Create Expert 6000MHz CL30 32gb AMD EXPO
PSU: Silverstone DA850R 850W 80+ Gold ATX3.1
SSD: WD Black SN850X Gen4 7300MB/s NVMe M.2 2TB
Chassis: Deepcool CG530
I ideally want to spend about 1.5k but have concerns as per below. Should I just spend 2k instead? I do not require RGB if the non RGB variants are cheaper.
MOBO: Is there an alternative similar priced MOBO without wifi features that’s better? Have no need for wifi.
CPU: Should I go for a 7600 instead? Picked a 7700 just cause I use android emulators a lot (multitasks, multi tabs etc).
GPU: Is a 9060xt enough for 1440p gaming? I don’t need it to be ultra settings but maybe ideally at high? I’m not considering 5070 due to the 12gb VRAM, maybe 9070xt? The 5070ti now is around 1.2k to 1.3k which i think is out of my budget even if i were to increase to 2k.
Cooler: Is this sufficient or is the Phantom Spirit/an AIO cooler better?
Chassis: I have really no clue about chassis, do give better recommendations if there are.
RAM/SSD/PSU: Is there a similarly priced better alternative?
Thanks for taking the time and effort!

the 7700 and in particular the 9060xt dont require much power at all, u can get by with a 500w psu. if u dont think ur gonna upgrade to higher power parts in the future, u can maybe look at seasonic core gm/focus gx 550w power supplies around the same price from tradepac; those are admittedly somewhat overpriced but at least u can rest assured they have been tested to be quite good and offer longer warranties. there is of course the futureproofing angle and getting a higher capacity psu like u mentioned, and id go for the silverstone viva gold 750w for $109 from bizgram. 850w is kind of overkill for ur system, but it is still up to u whether that $20 is worth it, and id go for the super flower leadex iii atx3.1 from pckaki at that price.
