I've heard good things about the P300, but I'd probably leave that to the people who actually own it to comment more.

Anyhu, some notables from the list includes Carbide 100R, 270R. They are decent to build in, not large in size, good cooling BUT they don't provide dust filters on the top panel.

Meshify C is another good candidate, if not for the fact that the price is jacked up

Yupe, that's what i think also.. I can find quite a number of video and article on fractal meshify c online but not much on p300

Appears to be color scale. smaller value = lighter, bigger value = darker.

Probably done by percentile.
