Recommendation for a new rig

So, I think my rig of about at least 4 years is in its last days and looking for some recommendation to upgrade. I like to recycle some parts from my old rig if possible.

Current rig specs:
CPU: Intel i5 7600
Mobo: ASRock H270 Pro4
GPU: MSI 1080 (Gona wait until a drop in prices before I upgrade to a 3k series)
Power: Seasonic 660w 80 Gold X series (Like to reuse)
Cooler: Water cooler (can't remember brand)
Ram: 2x8gb Klevv (Like to reuse)
Casing: Phantek (Can't remember model, quite old)
HDD: 1x 120GB SSD, 1x 500GB SSD (Like to reuse)

No need monitor, mouse and keyboard. I use it for gaming and general use and no overclocking.

I'm probably looking at a Gigabyte B560 Aorus Pro+11700, so wanna ask will my current PSU be enough along with a future 3k gpu?

Budget around $1500+

what makes u say so? if there is nothing majorly wrong, then u probably wont stand to gain much from upgrading.

No and maybe.

Your X series PSU might be 10 years old already, right? There might be not much lifespan left.

Depending on the 3xxx GPU you are eyeing on, it may require up to 750w.

While you definitely could reuse your DDR4 ram, There maybe some FPS losses, especially for CPU intensive games, for yesterday 2133/2400 mhz definitely slower than today 3200/3600 mhz.

I don't know much about intel motherboard, primarily because there isn't much technical review on it as it can't be overclocked other than the ZXXX. Practically, people would look for "future proof" features like PCIE4.0, USB-C, even USB3.2 if is available, and so on.

As for PSU, if you seeing yourself reusing the PSU in the future, it wouldn't be bad idea to purchase one that has 10 years warranty.

Looking up on the mobo specs, it has those features and psu chosen seems to have 10 years as indicated on the price lists.

I opt you go for Intel i5 11400 than i7 so you can overhaul the entire PC properly.
Seasonic X series is too old, not recommend to use newer graphic card like RTX3000 series with it.

The old rig you can sell it's individual parts except for the RAM and PSU.
Since you mention BSOD so high chance the RAM have fault, if you have
receipt.

You can send to Tech Dynamic for RMA for the RAM.
PSU is risky to sell especially given it's age so best that one keep it.

Just curious. Why the recommendation for 11400F? Is the b560 mobo a bad choice?

Actually was reviewing and thought I should instead go for 11600K with the gigabyte b560 board.

For PSU, the corsair RM750 can also be another choice?

B560 is a good chipset, at the price of that B560 board I am suggesting another model within the same price.
However that Z590 does not have WIFI only the Gigabyte B560 Aorus Pro AX have.

Why not consider Intel i7 instead of 11600k? The price difference is not much.

I thought of 11600K as it still fits ok within my budget. 11700k is a little over my budget.

I do not know why you want to mix a Z590 with a 11400F and then a B560 with a 11700K?

B560 goes with 11400F.
Z590 goes with 11700K.

If you insist to go with a B560, just get a 11400/11400F/11600/11600F/11700/11700F. If you want to overclock, just get the Z590 with a 11600K/11700K.
