You can leave the fan out first and get later. But I don't think you can have good temps with just 1 intake 1 exhaust. I would still suggest you to buy intake fans and use the stock for exhaust.

For fans, alternatively try to find Cryorig QF120. $23 per piece at Media Mart. That's from Lazada. Be sure to call them to check if they have them. Some e-tailer don't update their stock online.

No recommendations for DVD ROM. No longer using one. Everything is off the web these days.

No, you can reuse your old ssd. No impact to gaming at all.

Tradepac is cheaper if you do your research on pricing and you're good at bargaining with them. PC Themes are friendly and they won't force anyone to buy from them, hence they are more recommended to beginners usually.

Okay, then maybe I leave the fans out first.

As for DVDROm, might need it to re-install my OS, so I just buy any at 20~30$ price range is good enough ya?

Ya.. I just compared the pricing between tradepac and pc themes, indeed tradepac is alot much cheaper but I'm not sure of their service after sales if it's still decent. Like I need them to fix the parts for me as I have no experience in building a PC.

And 1 more last question, is it better to get 3000mhz for my RAM or 2666mhz and 3000 almost can't tell any different when gaming?

Thank you again.

You pay little, don't expect after sales service. If after sales service is what you're for, then look for boutique builders like Aftershock, Dreamcore, Typhoon Systems and many more. Tradepac have close to none in terms of after sales services afaik.

The thing about ram is you buy 3000mhz, it still run 2666mhz on your motherboard due to chipset limitation. Save your $10 for a cup of coffee is better.

Also, why do you need DVD ROM just for the windows. You can just install windows 10 with the windows 8.1 key using a USB thumb drive. Google Windows Creation Tool to find out more.

Anyway got major cpu shortage coming up from i5 8400 onwards to i7 8700k. Expect price increase of $50-$80 across all models. Good luck.

I still can't fathom why ts needs to spend so much to achieve 45 degrees while gaming. Anything below 70 is considered decent temps. 60 and below is considered great. Why specifically 45 degrees?

Longevity comes down to 2 things for me - how often you open up your casing to cleanup the dust and.....luck

If you're still building Apple system like with the 7700k awhile ago, then it's better to pick Z370 because the chipset is a rebrand lf Z270 union point for chipset compatibility.
