Recommendation for Beitou area

Hi... Will be going to Taiwan during Jun and accommodation will all be in Taipei as 1st time going under F&E. As we will be in Taiwan for 7D so wanted to go Beitou to try out their hotspring or basically 1D tour ard Beitou(北投). Kindly please voice or recommend any hot-spring or attractions not to be miss over there as i need to plan the itinerary for my friends. Heard the weather will be hot in Jun so it is still advisable to even go for the hot-spring at all ?

i heard jiaoxi is better (outside of taipei) but within beitou there are loads for you to pick from, ranging from most ex (kagawa) to free public hot springs...
the one i tried was this one, you can have a look for your ref.

i think hot spring is fine whether the weather is hot or not, just that if the weather outside is cool and you're soaking in the hot spring, there feeling is pretty awesome...
