Recommendation for budget laptop

Hi guys, I am looking for a laptop that costs around $600 to $800. I am using the laptop for studying/working (using apps or programs like JMP/adobe/microsoft excel, words)and watching videos. Any one can suggest a laptop that fall within this category and should I wait for COMEX or just head down to SLS to buy? I am looking more towards Asus laptop, thanks in advance.
