Recommendation for destroying DVDs?

Any recommendations for DVD destruction methods? I have some past DVD backups dating all the way back to 2006 that I'm migrating off from and would like to destroy safely (e.g. without using a microwave). What would be a good, reliable way to do it?

Some shredders machine can destroyed nicely.

I just throw in recycle bins for my unwanted or damage DVDs.
Take note CDs are prone to damage from fall so if you throw
very high chance the CD are damaged.

Using DVD is very safe already. Coz now a lot of PCs don't even have DVD drives, cannot read. Just throw.

Can get those paper shredder that shred cd/dvd. Not too expensive. I shred all my dvd using my office shredder.

I just shred them. Its plastic anyway, so its easy to dispose.

Yea I'm thinking if this will work - putting them in a small stack within a ziplock then hammer them down.

Just use a drill and drill through that whole stack of 50 DVDs, if scared too thick, then do 5 times of 10 discs per round or 2 times of 25 discs per round.

DVD is not difficult to destroyed, I just destroyed my faulty hard drives last night by dismantling them, kept all the actuator assembly and disc platters as souvenirs. Took me quite a while.
