could be the problem with your tv handling the hdmi handshake....i'm inclined to think the better of the monoprice hdmi switch because it works superbly for me.

I'm sure your right as I know alot of people are using these fine. I bought a new 5 port switch from mugentech.net locally here in Singapore and it is perfect for me. I'm running the PC, PS3, 360, SH Black HD box all perfectly. I was going to post a link to their website but found a link to their advert in the HWZ marketplace which is below:-

http://www.hardwarezone.com.sg/marketplace/view.php?cid=63&id=23436

The unit is well made and very good value compared to importing a Monoprice switch and importantly it works perfectly for me. I paid for the switch on Friday and it arrived at the office today registered post and cost $114.

Congrats! What matters is to make sure all are working fine. :D

It can be used. So it will be 220V to 5V adaptor.
The only cons is that once the adaptor is gone..U may have problem sourcing them

I bought a simple brandless 4in1out hdmi switcher from SLS.
Seems like a home-made switcher..:s22:

The problem is that once I plug my Singtel miobox cable in together with my Starhub box cable...The TV would show "Your TV does not support HDCP."

Is this a HDMI handshake problem..and how can I resolve this?
Anyone can help?
Thank you...:s12:

Hey guys,

for those who buy stuff from monoprice, were you being asked to submit a copy of your identification and a copy of the front and back of the credit card for your 1st order?

This is the 1st time i am being asked to do such things when purchasing items online.

:s11:

TIA

I tried ordering from monoprice and encountered the same request, not sure if I should continue with my order.
