I think there is something wrong with the memory name. I don't recall Corsair have a Ballistix series though. I suppose it should be Crucial instead of Corsair.

Between the 2, the X series is good for people that don't want to meddle with OC I suppose. The difference in clockspeed between the 2 is quite small to be honest.

I forgot to add that you can also considering getting nvme heatsink from aliexpress
I don't think the nvme will get heated ridiculously for average usage but low heat equal better longevity.

Not for me. While the X series are binned chips to allow them to run at higher frequency, I feel there is also lesser headroom for OC. On the other hand, non X is where you pay less and still get a reasonable overclocking headroom to get your close to X series performance.

Thank you everybody who contributed to the recommendation, most appreciated, especially SkyShroud. I got my ring from Fuwell on Fri.

Some of the items they don't have and changed to different parts. Eg the casing to Corsair H500, Gigabyte 5700X, Asus monitor. Thank you senior members for the guidance. Have a pleasant weekend.
