Recommendation for New PC

Hello so I've finally decided to upgrade my 5 year old pc from scratch except for the gpu. Am looking for a build where I can play dota and run a vmware at the same time(the vmware mainly used for running some scripts wont be that heavy). The budget that I'm looking for is below 1k? I wont need a HDD,SSD and GPU as I can use my old one. Need recommendation for CPU, Motherboard, RAM, PSU and a decent Monitor. Thanks!:s12:

Cpu: Ryzen 5 3600
MB: MSI B450 Tomahawk
Ram: Corsair LPX DDR4 16gb 3200mhz
PSU: Coolermaster MWE gold 650W (Not sure about your GPU, but should suffice unless its a monster)

Should have $200-300 left for monitor...depends on you liao because monitor quite subjective.

How reliable are AMD Cpus though, never had an AMD CPU before and saw quite alot of bad reviews on it

As for my GPU its a 1070

By that logic you should avoid Intel because of all the security issues and the heat.

I wonder where you read about all the 'bad reviews' for AMD Ryzen CPUs. :look:

How reliable are PC Themes though, never bought from PC Themes before and saw quite alot of bad reviews on it.

there is probably a reason or several why almost everyone here who has a clue is recommending Ryzen over Intel

okay thanks bro. as for the 2600 would it be recommended if i am using a VMware and playing games at the same time? I wouldnt mind not getting the monitor for now to get a better cpu

I included the CPU cooler because the wraith spire will be insufficient when you want to match the R7 2700x speed by manually overclocking the CPU. Also add around S$50-60 for additional case fans as the casing does not include any fans.

Hijack a bit. Does the AMD chip and MSI motherboard have international warranty? Or need to send back Amazon US for RMA?
