Recommendation for OS Clone

Just received and installed my new M2 NVME.
Well this is my first time being lazy to do a clean and fresh installation so, any recommendation for the easiest and fussfree clone software to clone my OS drive into the new SSD?
~350GB to fresh 1TB drive will roughly takes how long?
And lastly, just clone, reboot into BIOS and change boot manager drive correct?

Just do a clean install of Windows, it is not only fast but won't have any issue.
Programs etc. you have to redownload, only files like document can backup etc.

when young with free time, yes (in the past i've always do fresh install)
when gets older with tons of to-do / want to do things, time better spent on elsewhere and do a migration (for phone, pc/laptop, tablets etc )
it gets real tiring to download install each and every prog / apps, google instructions to backup/migrate on latest version for every app/prog, transfer documents, settings, registry, bookmarks, addons, themes, password and so on

anyway i googled and now trying to use the Acronis True Image via WD, estimated ~1hr+

Macrium always work for me, and it offer the freedom of resizing the destination partition size.



Some say fresh install is better but as Devilsire said, life is too short to waste on reinstall, cause it isn't just about OS but tons of other things.

i think same machine jsut clone nvm. full new build then clean install.

1 hr time to clone rather do a clean install which is faster.
I agree you have to transfer everything but on a new drive best to start from fresh.
Anyway the decision is up to you, for me I will definitely do a fresh install.

yeah OS installation is quick, the hassles is more on installing and adjust settings for every app/prog and digging the backup / migrate part

anyway have done the cloning via Acronis True Image, really simple and fussfree without issue
