hi guys, a bit out of touch in the scene so need some recommendations for a budget PC

Re-using: Casing, cd/dvd writer, monitor, peripherals, and no wireless card needed (using LAN)

Need: Motherboard, processor, ram, graphics card, storage, power supply (if i miss any please recommend also)

Usage: Dota, Maplestory, Movies, Dramas

What will be a good budget build? Thanks!

Sorry to hijack this thread. I am looking to build a pc as well. My requirements are more for playing car racing games such as NFS, Dirt etc. I also play GTA as well. On the other hand will link up to dual monitor for work wise.

I am looking at Ryzen 1700, gtx 1060 6gb, 2 X 26/27" monitor, but not much clue on the rest of the stuffs like which brand/size is more value for money now in the market for rams, psu, harddisk, ssd, casing, cpu cooler(is water cooling still in the trend?). Budget is around 1.5k or lesser excluding monitors. Saw some cpu with many running led lights like very nice, the lights are from ram and fans on the case?

Looking to buy some stuffs from comex and the rest from sim lim perhaps? Any recommendation what are the items I should get from comex and balance what items to get from sim lim and which shop?
