Uhhh casual games like CS: GO and maybe D2 but looking to playing more intensive games with this setup :s13:

Won't be overclocking since there's no need to play at max settings for all games :D

7850 should be enough for a 1080p screen right? Or should I get the 7870 for future games?

The discrete graphics card won't be used if I not playing graphic intensive game right? Otherwise power consumption is another problem too~

Yes the 7850 should suffice your needs. But if you dont mind coming out $57 more then get the 7870 loh

If he is not overclocking, running >10 120mm >=2000rpm fans, gigantic raid array, or a AMD Centurion, 520W is enough. If he wants to do a SLI, then a 700W would be more suitable.

GTX 760's TDP is 170W, and Nvidia locked it.

The Seasonic 520W is not a piece of junk, else they would not give a 5 year warranty.

I have the M12II 520W, but if he wants, he can save by going for the non-modular version. Just tie up the unused cables.

but 620W > 520W? So it consumes more power or...?

sorry i'm a newbie at this :(

The wattage is the maximum (supposedly, as claimed by the manufacturer) that the PSU can supply (either continuous or peak, as per specs).

The PSU will draw (from the wall) X amount of power to supply Y amount of power demanded by the system. Therefore

Y \div X \times 100% = PSU efficiency

This efficiency is not a flat line but usually a gentle convex curve.

Note that higher operating temperatures have two effects: reducing efficiency and reducing maximum wattage (derating).

Cheap PSUs will rate their wattage at low temperatures, while high end PSUs will rate at higher temperatures (as high as 50C).

Age will also have an effect of reducing the maximum power that the PSU can output. However, good units are usually engineered to counter such effects that it is generally small. The main effect of age is on the capacitors and fans (these two are the most common points of failure, though the control circuit for the fan may fail before the fan's motor lifespan is up).

Ohhhh. So a 520W should suffice my needs but just in case I should go for the 620W psu? And to save money I should get a bronze or gold or platinum efficiency?

Somewhat you should get it le ba. So it depends on you. Cause i see your budget wait i exceed it also like not right for you. So thats why choose FSP raider 450w for you.

Silver, Gold, Platinum efficiency are unnecessary for you and too expensive. 80+ and Bronze efficiency units are sufficient.

Note: quality units come with good efficiency, but the converse is not true!

Seasonic S12II/M12II, FSP Hexa/Raider, Superflower Amazon, (and a lot more) are quality units in the mid range that are suitable.
