Recommendation: Malaysia short trip

Hello..
planning to go Malaysia this Saturday.. 1 day trip.. not too far though .. come back on Sunday via drive.

Any recommendation? Like KL, Malacca, port dickson, legoland, desaru..

Desaru ba for rest and relax and some sea and beach. Got children go Lotus Desaru resort. No children go Pulai desaru.

Malacca for makan and some shopping. Budget can stay at fenix inn if not can consider hatten or equatorial.
