Hi,

So i'm currently using RTX 2070 and have been waiting for the 50 series to come out.
Now that it's out, it seems that reviews of the 50 series cards are appalling.

Considering getting 4070 Super or 4070Ti Super.

Any advice?

4070 Super 12GB enough for almost all current games at 1440p 60fps Ultra no-RT DLSS Quality. A few games do need >12GB (e.g. Avatar). Can do minimal ray tracing. 12GB not quite enough for more RT features. GPU not enough for proper RT either.

4070 Ti Super 16GB better if you can afford it, but even 5070 Ti 16GB won't make 4K 60fps Ultra no-RT DLSS Quality for Alan Wake 2 ... well, perhaps possible with DLSS Performance (which isn't that bad an idea since DLSS 4 is making DLSS P almost as good as DLSS Q at the cost of a few fps).

considering between 32inch & 38inch monitor (3840x1600?)
really like the vertical space. maybe Dell U3824DW or LG 38WP85C-W

my max budget including monitor should be about 5k.

Assuming nvidia only.
Brand new. 4080 super or 5080.

Used. You can get 4090.

currently, 5090 outside your budget but it really is not supposed to be.
