Recommendation on casual gaming build~

Hey guys,

- This is the first time im going to be building my own desktop. Been using a laptop so far. Im looking for something that will support casual gaming in a budget of about 1.1-1.3k.

- I will need to get speakers, a keyboard, screen, and possibly an OS.

--- However, i only need to include the screen cost in the build. I can dig up some old keyboard and speakers to hold me over for a while. The OS also no need to include in build cost.

- Will need a DVD burning device.

- Since casual gaming only, dont intend to over-clock and such.

- Playing games such as Skyrim, THIEF, GTAIV, Dishonoured, NFSMW.


I am totally open to all suggestions so please just shoot them out. =)

If u wonder why both of them price different, its because roy is usual customer to tradepac. The price moneyface give abit more realistic

Not really. If you keep a few batches of tp pricelist before. Powercolor and Leadtek and giga prices was not mask. Same goes to certain MSI GTX760.

And from there there is a way to keep track the prices. Usually it did not differ away that much.

The most $1-$5 away.

Bundle prices are about the same. But anything too good to be true like the r9 270x + FSP Raider 550w at $319 then cannot believe, when you go there they will flip prata.

im guessing they would be roughly there. i wouldnt expect anyone to give me an exact to the dollar estimate anyway. haha

As for the builds, thanks so much guys.

@moneyface - i dont think ill need such large SSD space. will prolly look for 128gb~
deff dont intend to spend so much on speakers and keyboard just yet. so thanks for keeping that in the optionals =)


what is the difference between the 2 PSUs? Im not really sure how to compare?
Any link i can go to read up on is fine as well

If anymore builds come to anyones minds, shoot pls always on the lookout for cheaper alternatives~
