Recommendations DSLR

Was into the scene back then like 5-6 years ago and that time I got myself with nikon D5000 and also the external flash.
Now my D5000 is collecting dust in the dry cab so thought of upgrading/getting a new set or maybe jump ship to another brand canon.

What models is good for beginner/basic entry level? Mostly use for potraits and travelling.

Kind of spoilt and cant AF and theres weird noise when taking pictures tho

may I ask what is your budget?

For portraits, I recommend Nikon D750.

For travel, I would recommend Nikon D7500.

if your camera still can be used, you may want to get good glass.

Consider getting a 2nd-hand camera. With the launch of the Nikon d7500, prices for 2nd hand d7200, d7100, d7000, d90 and earlier have all dropped.

Basically if your D5000 is collecting dust in the dry case, most likely whatever new camera you buy will end up the same. So no need to spend too much money on a new camera.

Agree. I am in the Same situation. I keep a seldom-used DSLR in the dry cabinet. Decided to change to better lenses only.

Try to have a habit of bringing up your camera out say once every weekend....

have some sun and take some pictures!
