Hi, if I am a causal user who wishes to venture in the realm of DSLRs, what is the best camera to purchase now? Keeping in mind that the price mustn't be too high and must be user friendly enough to maintain and use (not too heavy).

However, I can tell you the entry level ones are Nikon D3300 and the Canon 750D.

Not bad. U can compare with rx100 mkiii, Panasonic lx100 and canon g7 x.

If u r not going to invest into lenses, better for u to buy rx100 mkiii or canon g7x.

Sidetrack... Nikon dslr d5500 (touchscreen) very good and lightweight as well.

TS, you need to narrow down your criteria. You are considering a wide range of camera systems at the moment. Decide whether you want interchangeable or fixed lens, big or compact camera. From there, you can decide the type, brand and model of camera to choose or have people recommend.

If you want it light... There is only one solution.... Go mirrorless.
If price is an issue .. I highly suggest olympus em10. Good and cheap. Try to see if there is any promo during pc fair ... Like free lens etc... Then go tk photo in funan and buy them.
