Hi guys. Any recommendations on cases with old usb 3.0 connectors (that fits the back of the case)? My mobo doesn't support the internal connectors.

I realize that the old Sharkoon T28 had the old connectors but it has since been upgraded. Budget will be around 90 bucks.

Just get any current era chassis and this will do:

Such converter cable was just 'invented' and scarce during that point of time since USB 3.0 just emerge on Intel chipset and chassis makers are (slowly) transiting to USB 3.0 ports with internal header. I was also trying to look for such cable back then when i couldn't find the older USB 3.0 bay with the male ports.

They quoted me 18 bucks for it.... Since I need 2 of them, easier and cheaper to buy from dealextreme and get it delivered.

S$90 buck gets you a brand new casing with your desired connector. :s22:

Oh wait... I think I got it wrong. You motherboard does NOT have the internal connector. So you want to find an 'old chassis' that uses the old type connector?

S$90 is a lot for a new chassis, but using old connector is rare.

No point spending money looking for old chassis. Just get the S$5 connector as suggested.

Since u are not dumping your casing, it's cheaper to just get the converters as suggested.
