Hello, I'm looking to make a new computer rig as my old one died.

What I have already: Zotac 1060 3gb, Seasonic m12II EVO Bronze 520W, 1TB HDD, 120 GB SSD (both disk 6 years old). I can reuse them right?

What I want:

Whats the difference between H310 and B360? Is it worth to get B360 over the H310?

Looking for I5 8400, Motherboard Branding wise, I'm not too sure, any recommendations of which brand is better/value for money?

I would want to get a Samsung EVO 860 250GB, 16GB Ram, and a new case.

Thank you so much!

Motherboard wise, if you can, invest a bit more into B360 with vrm heatsink. 6 core i5 can hit the VRM to generate quite a bit of heat. Having some heatsink is good. I'd say a good choice would be Asrock B360M Pro4 with i5-8400, $381 from Dynacore.

A pair of 8GB Klevv Bolt 2400MHz (total 16GB) $238 from Dynacore

Crucial MX500 250GB is a direct competitor to Samsung Evo 860, having some promo at Lazada now by Convergent (direct distro), selling at $102.

Fractal Design Focus Mini (Window) $76 from Dynacore. With 2x LED fans inclusive.

Total: $797

HDD can reuse but such an old drive is slower due to mechanical wear and tear. Don't store important stuff. As game drive still acceptable. SSD I don't know how much read write have you done, but also, don't use for important stuff. Maybe for game drive or scratch disk.
