Hi All

Im looking to build a 4 or 8gpu miner rig with a budget of $10-15k sgd

All parts must be able to be sourced from sls. Will be running it in a aircon room. Any gd recommendations?

Hashrate is impt for me so want the best hashrate single rig.

For what cryptocurrency? No real point still mining eth, the difficulty is too high and the returns are tiny.

Some algos (like skein or skink) are good on nvidia.

You better think first what you want to mine. This will determine the build. Ideally you would want 4x 1080Ti and 4x RX580 and then use Nicehash to auto mine the best algo for each card.

aircon takes 3x as much energy to remove the heat from the enclosed environment

for example if your room on aircon , it stable at 25 d celcius
you turn on the rig and use 1000 watt
your aircon will need to expend 3000 watt to bring it back down to 25 d celcius
total 4000 watt

No specific crypto currency but need all rounded gpu. 1080ti also can be considered.

Power n cooling not an issue as it will be foc for me found a place to run it but can only run one rig.

Then you better get the BTC board from Asrock.

Get 2-3 1000w PSUs, jumper them together - you'll need this for the GPUs.

1080Ti can be undervolted and mine quite efficiently with 200w draw/card.

Bitcoin is just for ASICs now. Building a rig is for other cryptocurrencies.

Wait for a price dip then just buy/sell when high is the best way now.

But others like the "backup" of a slow trickle of income (if you pick the right coin)
