Hyperx Cloud IIs. Can't go wrong with this
Corsair HS50
I won't recommend hyperx cloud as after prolonged usage the rubber at the side will degrade and become sticky. Super disgusting.
I would personally recommend a pair of good headphones + mic but if u die die want headset, this is better:

For longevity sake, it is always best to buy headsets that the pads can be replaced.

hi there, im looking for one budget gaming headsets.
around $150? or lesser if possible.
thanks in advance
Hyper X Cloud Alpha, you wont regret it. Order at Prime Now with $20 off on new customers and its around $SGD110. And when you order, it will be on your doorstep within 3 hours upon order. I own a Takstar Pro 80 (HyperX Cloud) and a Hyper Cloud Alpha and the sound quality between the 2 are significant. Very clear mids and highs for the Alpha vs Cloud. Vocals are much clearer and soundstage are much wider. And you dont need those USB 7.1 dongles of the Cloud. More info here..

Im using a Takstar Pro 82 now as my daily driver since its very comfortable. I connected it to a FiiO E10k. But for gaming, i still use the Alpha.Good choice. Had the takstar Pro 82 version and love it. Very crisp and clear sound quality. Was really impress by china's headphones made from guangdong province. You can even hear the singer swallow her saliva or the sound of shotgun shells dropping on the ground. Not joking. Can watch z review from youtube also. He have high praise for these headphones. I say the sound quality is very comparable to the audio technica MSR7 which cost about $200-$250.
I agree with this ingeneral, but there are some who just want something that comes in a package, and would not exceed a stated budget. I myself do not game on headsets, rather, I prefer headphones proper. I'd tried the first gen Kingston HyperX (had the moniker 'Kingston' when it was first launched), thought it sounded great though mids was somewhat......veiled.Just buy proper audiophile headphones from sennheissers, audio-technica, beyerdynamics, AKG etc. Cheaper, better sound quality, more comfortable velour pads, easily replaceable earpads which can be found anywhere easily from taobao or local lazada,qoo10,shopee china sellers or local sellers. Audition at your local stereo headphone stores or any jaben.
Forget about gaming headsets.

Massdrop has sennheiser PC 37X at about $120. Great sound and mic and very comfortable.
for gaming headsets, i only choose hyperx cloud alpha. Good for its price.
but in the long run, i suggest getting a proper pair of audiophile headphones. currently using Sennheiser HD598. 3 years still going good for me.
also suggest getting a bang for your buck audiophile headphones instead. Then if u need surround do it via software. Really no point to get any gaming headsets.
