pedro shoes. buy > 120 range. lower range spoil very fast =X

I read quite a couple of bad reviews about Pedro shoes.

Any other brands like Dr. Martens, BettleBug or Borse Morgan that are around the $150 range?

TS, my advice is to not scrimp that $50 on shoes. Check out Aldo sale. Their shoes may be slightly more pricey but I believe it's worth paying. Worn almost everyday for the past 1 year or so without any problem.

I have checked out Aldo sales but mostly priced at $179 and $199 without any discount.

Pedro is bad. I urgently needed a dress shoe once and just bought a Pedro, didn't expect much for 150 but the nails in the heels penetrated the insole within 2 months.

Most expensive shoe ever. 2 months life for 150.

Never skimp money on shoes, a good pair should provide you comfort for years. Try to boost your budget because frankly at less than 250, you'd be hard pressed to find any value.

What is the price range for Loakes and Kiton? They seem to be on the higher end?

If you have to ask about the price of Kiton, you cannot afford it. You would be foolish to pay full price for them but you can snag good deals from Neiman Marcus sometimes.

Actually, for your budget, I would recommend BATA. They have some goodyear welted shoes with decent leather for around $100 when on sale.

Alternative would be to try in their store and buy online. I was in US last year and one of the pair on sale was going for $50 USD only. Shipping will cost a bit but probably still cheaper than getting retail here.

I will definitely skip Bata and Pedro. I had bad experiences with their leather shoes.

Where to buy loakes and borse morgan shoes?

I think you can try Centrepoint Robinsons for Loakes and Tangs/Taka for Borse Morgan if I never remember wrongly.

* I read that Singapore only has a limited variety of Loakes shoes (does not have Loake 1880).
