Hi all,

Need to get a new pc and would like it to be as small as possible.

Budget around 600.

No need monitor, keyboard, mouse.

Will need OS.

Main usage is for surfing, torrent, streaming and some gaming(FM, Maple, LOL, CS GO, Marvel Heroes).

Would like to play the games at decent settings.

Will it be possible? Thanks :s12:

You can start from this and adjust accordingly:

i3-6100 + MSI H110i ~ $296
8GB DDR4 Value RAM ~ $47
250GB SSD ~ $109
Inwin Chopin (with 150W TFX PSU)~ $150

Total ~ $552

Edit: ooops never see you want to play games... For that, you might need to increase budget a little bit. Small + Gaming = Not so cheap. But I think for your games, Skylake integrated graphics might be ok. Wait for other pros to recommend.

In-Win Chopin is quite elusive tho... went through the whole SLS for it, and only video pro said they have it but no stock at that time, all the rest of the shops said OOS in typical SLS fashion.

Just order from Amazon or Taobao or whatever.

if u want to get this case rather get the FRACTAL DESIGN NODE 202. 150W psu bann u from future upgrades and many gpus cannot be supported. NODE 202 features a 10.2 litre chassis much more sleek than RVZ-02 and its oso cheaper. Really, don't get the 150w psu.

I chose the coolermaster 110 itx case bcoz its small and supports liquid cooling for future upgrades. oso full size atx psu and 3.5" drive
AND ITS CHEAP LOL

P.S : Always remember, any chassis lesser than 15litre will be very hot when gaming. even a 750ti in this kind of casing can shoot to 71*C

bro the psu is pure rubbish as it has NO 80PLUS CERTIFICATION.
and the gpu u recommend is no match for the R7 240 I recommended at the exact same price point.

not sure if this is troll post or not :s22:
EVERY other person here recommends the hexa+ on a budget system and here you are calling it rubbish just because it doesn't have a certification that dosen't even prove the quality of the psu.

Better do more research on the Hexa before you say so. And my typo for the GTX 240. Supposed to be R7. Powercolor does not do Nvidia cards.

chill la lol

I'm sorry but I have but i have bad experience with FSP years back as I have bought HEXA+ 500 and it died within 3months second set came and same problem happened within a year. Its not supplying enuf power to gpu. Hence I do not trust any psu without 80+ certification.

just because 2 power supplies died on you doesn't mean that the psu is crap. 80+ certification only tells you how efficient it is at converting power from the wall into power for the pc. it doesn't mean that the components inside is better quality. you can have an 80+ gold psu with worse parts in it compared to a psu without an 80+ certification.

First of all, FSP Hexa+ is not FSP Hexa.

Secondly, 80 Plus certification isn't an indicator of good PSUs. Just an energy efficiency indicator.

And the FSP Hexa+ can do what FSP Hexa can't.

With our limited lab, I tested the HEXA+ 550W with my system that runs an AMD Radeon R9 280X based GPU, I set the system to perform crypto coin mining operations over more than a week and the unit didn’t break down. This was something I couldn’t do so with the HEXA 500.

http://www.goldfries.com/hardware-reviews/fsp-hexa-550w-80-plus-h2-550-power-supply-review/

Lastly, i am a FSP Hexa+ 450W user here (for my mum's PC).

still as for me, I still won't recommend fsp for safety reasons. Drawing more power from wall but not efficient at all and fail within months is just horrible. Paying slightly more now is better than u pay to change a psu months later. which cost more and have more trouble? u decide.
