In-Win Chopin is quite elusive tho... went through the whole SLS for it, and only video pro said they have it but no stock at that time, all the rest of the shops said OOS in typical SLS fashion.

Just order from Amazon or Taobao or whatever.
I came across it at their distributor storefront (AIM Resources) on SLS level 5.

if u want to get this case rather get the FRACTAL DESIGN NODE 202. 150W psu bann u from future upgrades and many gpus cannot be supported. NODE 202 features a 10.2 litre chassis much more sleek than RVZ-02 and its oso cheaper. Really, don't get the 150w psu.

I chose the coolermaster 110 itx case bcoz its small and supports liquid cooling for future upgrades. oso full size atx psu and 3.5" drive
AND ITS CHEAP LOL

P.S : Always remember, any chassis lesser than 15litre will be very hot when gaming. even a 750ti in this kind of casing can shoot to 71*C

Nope that's because you're using a coolermaster case.

Silverstone cases are better at cooling. Just go google people compare SG05 (or whatever equivalent) vs CM 120

wow  that calculator is really detailed , can select clockspeed

my rig is estimated 422watt  I thought ~300 only

Not sure if serious or sarcastic. :s13:

Well, that calculator tells you what CoolerMaster PSU wattage rating is needed. Not the real power draw of your system. What 245W for my system lol I measure only 150W, from the wall.

the calculator is max power draw on cpu + graphic

play game or normal usage won't hit 100% on both .... usually 1 will bottleneck the other

Hi all,

Need to get a new pc and would like it to be as small as possible.

Budget around 600.

No need monitor, keyboard, mouse.

Will need OS.

Main usage is for surfing, torrent, streaming and some gaming(FM, Maple, LOL, CS GO, Marvel Heroes).

Would like to play the games at decent settings.

Will it be possible? Thanks :s12:
Against all odds and prejudices that you can't build one with your budget. ;)

CPU+MB: Intel Core i3-4160 + ASRock H81M-HDS R2.0 @ $217
RAM: Crucial/Kingston ValueRAM DDR3-1600 CL11 8GB @ $46
GPU: Palit GTX 750 Ti 2GB StormX Dual @ $139+3* (Lazada Singapore)
HDD: Western Digital Blue 1TB @ $74
CASE+PSU: In Win BK644 + Powerman IP-P300BN7-2 300W SFX [80 Plus] @ $99 (Laser Distributor)
Only 12.5 litres, smaller than many mITX chassis!
Such system consumes around 150W on typical full gaming load.

OS: Microsoft Windows 8 Professional 64-bit Product Key [OEM] @ $30 (Reddit)
Upgrade for free to Windows 10 via free Windows 8.1 update.

Total: $608

Buy others from Tradepac, #05-19. Haggle for discounts!

All Lazada prices inclusive of delivery charge
*Price after Lazada App MERSCNEW 15% off max $20 discount
Use this before any other code to prevent nullification

You cannot even put a gpu even the most basic ones lol

Such form factor PCs exist because you simply don't want or need to put a GPU inside lol.

People buy small because they don't need those graphics processing prowess.
People buy small because they are not running any high power parts.
People buy small because they never intend to go big.
People buy small because they can.

Going by your logic, everyone should buy E-ATX chassis with E-ATX motherboard and 1000W PSU no matter what sort of usages so that they can install the greatest, most gargantuan component they can ever get without needing to worry over space constraint or tight power envelope lol. :s22:

It's about 110 to 120W for CPU, SSD and RAM. With a 50% buffer, we are looking at 160 to 170W. This assumes no GPU, HDD, fans etc.

Figures from http://www.coolermaster.com/power-supply-calculator/

Mind you this system runs on high end feature-packed Z87 motherboard, GTX 780 Ti and high clock speed RAM that inflate actual power consumption by about 20W over a mITX build running on minimally featured, basic mITX motherboard, regular speed RAM and IGP.

Very nice. If you can increase your budget by a little, you can get GTX950 for $179 during promo at Lazada. I think the $40 will go a long way.

And also skylake, because Intel keeps changing their socket and after a few more years, you can't find 1150 boards anymore :s22::s22: (Like 1155 now)

Yes, I concur. I think more people need to know this, instead of just advocating bigger is better.

I think 150W is more than enough for mini ITX w/o GPU. I initially suggested the Inwin Chopin because I was going for "as small as possible" and I thought this is a nice casing. But I didn't read the part TS said he wants to play game so... my bad =:p

Also, SIC last I saw this case was at Bizgram.

If I can up my budget to $700, which parts would be best to upgrade?
GTX950 for $179 as bro harharhar brought up?

Also will the casing be able to fit another SSD, I have an extra SSD.

Hi guys,

I managed to get hold of a couple of parts. Wondering if I can re-use them.

Lian Li PC-A05NB Casing
and
FSP Aurum Gold 500 Non Modular 500W PSU

Am I able to reuse them? What parts should I get with my 600-700 budget?
