Recommendations for PC upgrades

Hello, I'm looking to upgrade my current CPU as it is showing signs of failure and also I'm having poor frame rates in games.

My current rig:

AMD X4 955 processor 3.20GHz
4gb Ram (other 4gb just died)
AMD Gigabyte R9 270c 4gb (2 years 3 months)
Intel 250gb SSD (2 years 3 months)
1TB HD (6 years)
Thermaltake 630W Bronze (2 years 3 months)
CM 431Plus (2 years 3 months)

Looking to retain:
Graphic card
Ssd
1 tb HD
DVD drive
Maybe the casing if suitable

Do not need peripherals but require windows, most likely getting from reddit.

Do not need on board wifi but require board to support total 3 hard disk and 1 DVD drive at least.

Budget looking at $700 or lower if possible. Will not mind buying from platforms like lazada / qoo10 or Amazon if price is good.

First time building a pc (usually ask fuwell build for me) , if you have any good YouTube tutorial for building of similar build, please do share!

overhaul your whole system to either amd Zen or Intel kaby lake or wait for skylake price drop.

and maybe can consider getting a new ssd and gpu as well,

Both Intel and AMD releasing next gen CPU platforms. And having native support for USB 3.1 Gen2 on theor motherboards. More choices for you.

Sounds good, but since it's newly launch, will the prices be rocket high?

Yes, I am thinking of getting a 480gb ssd too, 240 is hardly sufficient for me now.

well all we know is that it will come out during the 1st quarter (fastest release, hope not delay to 2nd quarter)
