First of all, thanks you bros for the help and advice. Budget of around 1.2k

Was thinking of getting the following parts:

CPU and MoBo: ASRock H87M-Pro4 w/ i5 4570 @ $396
GPU:Sapphire HD7850 2GB OC Edition @ $258
Ram: PC3 12800/1600 Kingston CL11 4GB @ $45
HDD: WD Caviar Blue 3.5" 7200 rpm 1TB @ $85 <$784 so far>
Casing & PSU: No idea yet, any recommendations within the budget

Prices are taken from Fuwell, any other recommended outlets at SLS?
I'll need windows and monitor as well. Will be trying to get a 2nd-hand monitor to save some money there.

Uses: Moderate Gaming. Ok with gaming with medium quality graphics on most recent games. Probably getting a 19" or 21" monitor.

ummm.. I thought of that as well but there don't seem to be a difference big enough to get a GTX760..

Is 150 bucks enough for PSU and Casing?

The usual recommendation will be
"Case: Sharkoon T28 @ $87
PSU: Seasonic S12 520W @ $78"

or something similar

Thanks nippp0n. I don't think i'll be playing games that will utilising the full potential of 760. The 7850 should suffice for me, probably can use the difference to upgrade the other parts.

Anyway thanks for the your recommendations, will definitely drop by Tradepac around this week.

am looking for a new rig..

is tradepac considered the cheapest?

Most probably the cheapest in SLS. But you might need to be aware of their sales tactics and always check your items before making payment and leaving the shop.

Actually check at EVERY SHOP. Because PCThemes also gave me a weird PSU when i didnt check properly.

I think overall maybe $100 cheaper max. I am not sure about this though~

Abit extra here ah... Actually everything you buy no matter is it Hardware or food or anything else, it is best to check before you leave :) (Unless sealed?)

Example: McDonald giving McNugget instead of McSpicy that you ordered.

ha.. i happened to have an interesting accident at macdonalds where i was given a wrong burger in a big mac box.

good advice that i should definitely check man. However, does that mean that i have to be around to see them take the parts from sealed box and install it in front of my eyes?
