I've been using MyRepublic for awhile, it really gets slow with the loading speed at times (for chrome)
I’m planning to sign up for a new Internet plan and would like to get some of your feedback and recommendations?
Currently comparing Simba, ViewQuest and Singtel but I’ve been reading mixed reviews online.

Simba seems cheaper but on reddit it said about CGNAT ?
ViewQuest has quite a number of feedback about Customer Service, but some gamers told me it's fast
Singtel seems to be expensive but also several issues randomly sometimes.

Thank you all in advance*

Maybe this is just a temp issue on the MR side and you may be a bit patient to see if things get resolved soon.

If you want to switch, maybe you want to consider M1. I usually recommend M1 and Starhub users. But you are not happy about MR, then maybe M1 is a better choice.

SIMBA -- CGNAT without static IPv4 add-on, less support level than the big three, not recommended in general
Viewquest -- not that stable in year 2025, not recommended in general.
Singtel --> using ONR, very stable, you can consider if you do not mind using ONR. Usually I will not recommend Singtel either for new users.

You can read about the ISPs here.

All Xiaomi router will work for M1 ONT 10Gbps plan at S$34.90 per month, but none of the global version is good for 10Gbps since they do not have 10G ports.

You may want to top up for Archer BE805 instead, at S$10 month for S$240 in total.

Only two China Xiaomi models (Xiaomi BE10000 and Xiaomi BE10000 Pro) are suitable for 10Gbps, both are more expensive than S$240 and both have no 6GHz band.

Or maybe the issue has nothing to do with MyRepublic's service. I think the original poster should attempt some basic troubleshooting steps to try to determine what's really going on. Is the observed behavior any different when using/configuring...
  1. A different device;
  2. A different Web browser;
  3. A wired instead of wireless connection (or vice versa);
  4. Different primary and secondary DNS server addresses (with a different DNS service);
  5. IPv6 temporarily disabled on the device.
That'd be a good start.

Yeah probably its not an ISP issue.

Look into the devices capability or router placement and coverage.

Was on MR for years, then switched to ViewQwest last year. Gaming wise its solid, good pings to servers in AU,SG and most Asian servers I play on. However the past month has been horrible with their downtime and Ive since been back to MR again for stability. It does seem like the issue youre experiencing with slow loading times is probably due to your local connectivity. I highly suggest you hardwire your PC or any devices with an ethernet port for best speeds.
