Hi everyone.
I have a Singtel 1GPS broadband plan, paying $46.64/ month. I am happy with it.
I have it for many years.
In the past, when I recontract for another two years, I will choose same plan, and then usually the promo in exchange for recontract is about $5 discount every month and I think also give other freebies like prime video or something.
Right now, when I wanted to recontract, it seems like they change the name of their 1GPS plan to a lot of fancy names like plus, enhanced mesh, enhanced, pro gamer, etc. But all the plans the amount is all higher what I am currently paying.
Meaning if I want to recontract I have to get new plan and pay higher.
Is this normal, or is it I have to call in to request to recontract to similar plan?
or is this Singtel they want to get users to upgrade to those other plans and thus increase their revenue?
