Hi i have a few queries i'd like to ask
I was in tekong a B1L1 and got OOT due to skin condition but was given a temp pes but now is perm C2L9.
As for recourse, i have a few queries to ask.
Since im a perm pes status now do i still have FFI to attend? Or will they just give me a date and just recourse?
What's are actually the difference between temp and perm pes status?
Is it possible to skip the recourse ?
.

since u are already given a perm PES, no FFI is required. CPC will notify u on your recourse. It will be better for you to check with your OC or S1 to check with CPC to assist in scheduling you for the earliest course as possible.

you may be attending the BMT with new enlistees, or the entire cohort is a recourse.

temp PES is a pending status due to you current medical condition which can be recovered or "stabilized" within your NSF duration, that you can be subjected to review for a perm PES regardless is an upgrade or downgrade.

possibility to skip recourse.. depends on where are u now. if you are at a unit which requires manpower for exercise planning and execution, you can request your unit to hold u due to "organisation requirement". but of course, you will remain at your current rank until you complete BMT. Otherwise, your current rank will be the one you will ORD with.

Can attest to rank part... those who went to recourse came back as CPL (since they were already 2nd year soldiers in svc vocation + completed relevant vocation courses ... the only thing that stood in the way of promotion was BMT completion)
