Recovering data from Macbook

I have a dead Macbook Pro that has 128GB flash storage and I was wondering if there was a connector/adapter or something that would allow me to use it externally. Only other Macbook I have access to isn't mine so I cant back it up that way

Take out the thing and get a adaptor B transfer out the data and use it as portable hard disk.

One way i can think of, if your SSD is pre-2013, is as follows:

There is an adapter card that converts to SATA interface which can be inserted into SATA USB enclosure. Connect the enclosure to your backup machine via usb.

Not verified not tested though.

Easiest way is still to borrow a macbook pro, insert SSD in and copy out.
