Recovery USB

Am using an old IdeaPad, intend to change to SSD
How do I go about doing a creating a recovery Windows 10 USB ?
When I did a search on microsoft website, it states that can create provided the windows is licensed. I dont have any CD Media or CDKEY to prove that my copy of windows is licensed, it came with my notebook.

How can I go about installing windows on my new SSD drive.

Even if I managed to get windows installed, would SD card reader work? cuz i have downloaded the drivers seperately on SD card

OEM laptops use digital license. you can reformat without key and it will activate when you connect to internet.

Download windows 10 from microsoft using a non-windows device.

Then use rufus to create usb https://rufus.ie/en/

Make sure secure boot is disabled before u change drives

Press f8 or f12 to manually select your usb and run installer.

just in case anyone else asking the same question….. answer is Here…. No need to worry about cdkey. halfway thru installation, so far touchpad, keyboard, wireless lan is working . Haven got into windows yet. The rest hope will work
