My motherboard recently died (Asrock) H81M-HDS R2.0, but the CPU, RAM and HSF should still be fine:
Intel i5-4670
2x8GB DDR3 1600
Hyper 212 LED

I also have a 5 year old Seasonic S12II 520W 80+ Bronze, that was still working fine until the mobo failed to POST. (edit: changed 550w to 520w)

I'm wondering if I just dump the whole motherboard with the cpu, ram and HSF still attached into the big ALBA electronics recycle box will it get recycled properly?

PS: If any bros here have a use for it, I'll be glad to give it to you, but have to meet in the vicinity of Boon Lay MRT.

UPDATE: I have given the parts to a fellow HWZ bro.

why not get a new mobo and build a NAS from this one? It will serve you for another 10 years.

I also have 2x Haswell processor with DDR3 rams as well. bought 2 itx motherboard based on H97 chips (less than $100 each) and repurposed as experimental NAS and soft router accordingly.
