If I did cross the junction and ‘beat’ red light, I’ll admit it was my mistake and own up to it.

But my concern is that I didn’t cross the junction. Which means I didn’t have the intention to do so. But had 2 flashes.

This is something that I felt, I would want to argue or dispute shld I get a fine & demerit points for this.

You have your points to shout and dispute. Any video that shows that will be great and you won't need waste much saliva with them.
Of course i heard drivers can demand from them to show photos proof of that two flashes. Then penalty could be doubled? Taigong only.

From law enforcement perspective, you crossed the stop line, and already entered the pedestrian crossing zone. It is just happened to be a good day that you didn't kill someone. Pay up the school fees and remember the experience forever.

I agree it's silly because the green man only appear 2 seconds after the red light. However the words of the law is clear. What to do.

Few years ago. I stopped at Grange Road and Patterson lights. Flash twice but my cae didn't enter yellow box. No fine. But my frz car he did stop but went into yellow box. Tp still fine him for beating red light

Not necessary. They just follow and send out, it's your job to prove you are innocent or they are wrong. No such thing as they sure win. They see photos, they issue summon. It's you who needs to make the case if you don't agree with their judgement.

waiting period can be up to 2 weeks...good luck. if really got it pay fine and move on...they will then send u a letter to register for safe driving course at $140+ to get back 4 points

last time just pay 400 and 4get it

I'm not talking about 'excuses' here to get out of summon. I'm talking about the technicalities of the photos + stopping the rear wheels before the 2nd flash.

AXS prolly won’t show whether u got TP fine first bah.. tp needs to send you the notice to submit the driver name first then you officially know the offence.. anyway, just pay and life goes on.. thanks that no human or life was affected..

Red light camera cannot appeal one.....there is no option in the letter to appeal... Someone at the safety course told me...he was there for running red light

It’s been 4 sundays ago that I got the 2 flashes. No letter till now. Once awhile still check from axs but nothing.

sound be pretty safe.
