There is no "real" situation. It's not like the first one was a doctored video. This is just another one from a different angle and it still shows the same sequence of events like the first, thus giving the same impression for me.

:(
My bad .
I go edit .
It should be "whole" not real.

Honestly, no difference la. It's a long video that includes many irrelevant parts. The pertinent part is still the same as the first.

Well, with the phone there... It didn't look that bad imo.
Without the phone, it is 10marks out of 100
With phone, it is probably 25 out of 100

The whole thing became such a hoo-ha, probably it is due to the lack of planning by the organisers.. as how they explained, uncle should not have been there. Shows the crowd control not done well, thus made the MP in a tight spot.
So now, they come out with this CSI video to do damage control.

The habit of using phone while driving.
So when holding or keeping a phone into a pocket, you will subconsciously behave that both your hands are busy.

That's why no shake uncle's hand even when he offered both.

Lesson for Organisers: VIP Reception Etiquette

When welcoming VIPs, it is crucial to assign one staff member to open the door. The remaining staff should maintain a safe distance from the door, preventing overcrowding and ensuring the VIPs feel comfortable and respected.

Ironically, it's pricisely that it is a small matter that she not shaking his hand at the first instance (even after keeping her phone) makes it bad. She wouldn't "be in a spot" in the first place if she just had returned the handshake quickly, her hands not made of gold. Blaming it on poor planning just makes them look more elitist because it makes it look like the uncle not worthy of her handshake so must put him one corner.
